Paris - March 11th, 2019.
RESOLVING presents the updated version of R-BUILD, its Open BIM platform to digitise construction projects
- R-BUILD solution has been enriched with business modules and technological evolutions.
- It stands out as the cockpit for 2D and BIM projects for all stakeholders.
R-BUILD, an Open BIM platform to accelerate digital construction
R-BUILD platform, allows to coordinate the whole of a construction project in 2D or in BIM mode: design,
construction, delivery, controls, quality, safety, commissioning.
R-BUILD supports exchanges between all stakeholders around technical documents, digital model but
also 2D drawings, throughout the life cycle of a construction project: it centralises all the data , it is
a steering tool for project managers in monitoring the whole project.
Shared with all project's teams, R-BUILD is available in a modular way, according to the specific needs of the trades
and its levels of intervention. And, as collaborating participants have responsibilities
and different roles, R-BUILD adapts by playing on its openness and ease of use.
RESOLVING's solution, with its functional width and several references, has already proved that it meets
to the needs of different actors in the building industry: Project owner, general contractor, subcontractors,
engineering and design offices, architects, public operators ...
In the world of BIM, where experience, good practices, experts are still recent and rare,
R-BUILD solution appears as a global, secure tool, to coordinate and manage methodically
information sharing on BIM projects. R-BUILD allows companies to implement concretely
the digital transformation of processes, and manage the technological and methodological leap towards BIM,
a source of competitive advantage », explains Cyriaque Rios, President of RESOLVING.
R-BUILD revisited for teams and BIM Manager
The BIM tools have been expanded for this 2019 release. For example, teams and BIM Manager
will be able to visualise the contents of the model, but also to access its synthesised information automatically
and presented as statistical graphs for a quick and thorough analysis of indicators
keys of a project in a few clicks.
They can also save export templates with their filters to save time: export
the As-built documentation for customer will only take a few moments.
All users have won autonomy, thanks to a particular care brought to the interface. Access to
information is simplified by filters, users set their workflow independently, without
RESOLVING technical support intervention. They are thus able to manage in project mode their teams.
DMS functions have been expanded for an enrichment of the model and for As-built documentation.
Drawings and models can be integrated automatically on the platform through the web interface or simply through Revit,
without the need of specialists.
To access drawings and 3D models in the field, users publish them directly on their mobile tablet.
The recovery of the existing documentary is facilitated, even for the 2D drawings that can also enter the platform and
benefit from the BIM process; they will be available automatically when the 3D model is published.
Exclusive technology developed by RESOLVING display performance even faster, even for very large 3D model
All types of documents are available (Microsoft Suite, dwg, ifc, revit ...), with precise selection with filters for maximum efficiency and speed.
